Mustie1 - YouTube

I started watching Mustie1 on YouTube because of his homemade mopeds. He has about seven different bicycle creations with motors. Probably my favorite is "Think Twice", with two motors, which, I think, is his most recent. He's a blend of mechanic, fabricator and artist who loves kooky vehicles.

The thing that made me post this blog entry, is his latest hacks on his Cushman Meter Maid. I learn a great deal about fabrication and how to think about fabricating things from watching his video's. In the last two he decided to make a pickup bed and roof for the Cushman Meter Maid. He say's he wants to haul his bikes in it. It's really helpful to me to see how he's thinking through the mods. Anyone who plays with old mopeds, knows there they are going to have to fabricate stuff, at least a little bit.

Think Twice has a series of over 20 videos, but here is one:

He certainly has a Roadkill and/or steampunk bent.
